About Detroit Lions Tickets

Established in 1930, the Detriot Lions are one of the NFL's oldest franchises. Detroit has captured four NFL championships -- but all prior to the Super Bowl era, winning the NFL Championship in 1935, 1952, 1953, and 1957. Detroit is still in search of its first-ever Super Bowl title, but with one of the league's most explosive offenses, many believe the Lions are on the cusp of glory.

While the Lions haven't won the Super Bowl, some of the best players in NFL history have put on a Detroit Lions uniform. Barry Sanders is universally hailed as one of the best running backs of all-time, and the Hall of Fame running back spent his entire career with the Lions. Sanders rushed for over 15,000 yards before he abruptly retired following the 1998 season.

Detroit went through a long period of futility. The Lions failed to make the playoffs each season between 2000 and 2010, before finally going 10-6 and qualifying for the playoffs in 2011. Led by Matthew Stafford, the Lions boast one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL. Even though the Lions lost Calvin Johnson, a.k.a. Megatron, to retirement -- Detroit is ready to make a deep run in the playoffs in 2018.

With an explosive offense, and a new culture in Detroit -- the 2018-2019 season could be the Lions' year!
