Muse possesses a rich history within the alternative rock scene. Lead vocalist and guitarist Matthew Bellamy, bassist Christopher Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard met at Teignmouth Community College in the early '90s, after forming Rocket Baby Dolls and winning a battle of the bands competition in 1994 the three quit University to take their music seriously.
Since then, Muse has released five studio albums, the most recent being The Resistance in September 2009.
