Denver Broncos Schedule

Formed in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League, the Denver Broncos are one of the oldest professional football franchises. Denver joined the NFL after the AFL-NFL merger, and came into prominence in the 1980s, thanks in large part to Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway. Under Elway, the Broncos advanced to the Super Bowl in 1986, 1987 and 1989 -- but lost each game.

Over a decade after Elway's first Super Bowl appearance, the Broncos and Elway returned to the Super Bowl in 1997, defeating the Green Bay Packers. Elway led the Broncos to another Super Bowl title in 1998, before retiring.

The Broncos struggled after Elway left, but made one of the biggest moves in NFL history prior to the 2012 season, signing quarterback Peyton Manning after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts. Manning shattered the NFL record book in 2013, throwing 55 touchdown passes and for 5,477 yards en route to leading Denver back to the Super Bowl. The Broncos won the Super Bowl in 2015 against the Carolina Panthers 24-10. Manning officially retired in 2016, creating an open position that eventually landed Trevor Siemian as the starting quarterback.

Denver will try to return to the Super Bowl this season -- and bring the franchise's fourth Lombardi Trophy to Denver. You don't want to be left just watching the games on television. Check out Denver's schedule, and buy your Broncos tickets today!
